If the deceased has died at home or in a local nursing home we advise you to call the local funeral director to arrange the removal of the deceased to the chapel of rest. The reason being, for a cremation to take place two doctors must see the body so they can issue the cremation part 1 and 2 certificates for cremation to take place.
In this case the funeral director will charge a fee for the removal and use chapel of rest facilities until the deceased is deemed clear to be picked up by ourselves.
These fees are set by individual funeral directors and will be added to our service charge.
If a deceased is deemed to be obese then a small charge will be added for the larger coffin that may be required.
You may want to have the cremated remains returned to you, we can arrange for the crematorium to deliver them for you to your home address for a fee of £75.00.
If you want the Cremated Remains scattering at the crematorium there is no fee.
We can also organise scattering at sea or coast on your behalf for which a fee will apply.
